NOTW - Purple Sparkle + Fantasea

Another layering experiment. This one is Nubar Purple Sparkle + Orly Fantasea.
The actual result on the nail is more neon and less bumpy than this pic.

NOTW - Tokaido Express + Ruby Pump

This is 1 layer of NARS Tokaido express with 1 layer of China Glaze Ruby Pump layered on top of it. (click on the pic to enlarge it)
Isn't it just lovely? I really really like this combination!
(and sorry for the crappy nails, as usuall this is taken a few days after the initial application)

Majolica Majorca Trick on Powder BR751

Hi All,

On my trip to japan last September, I bought this eyeshadow quad from Majolica Majorca. Majolica is a drugstore branch of shishedo. This quad is in BR751 and the price is 1500 yen (around US$18) for 4g of product.

And how's my take on it?
I don't like it...
I've worn it once since I got it, and I'm not impressed. They swatched nicely and pigmented enough on my hand, but didn't really show up on my eyelid (NC20).
The colors are shimmery and pretty though, so maybe I'll try again sometime and try to pack more color on my lid.

NOTW - Zoya Shivon

Zoya Shivon, described by Zoya as A dark rose gold with hints of purple and bronze and strong gold duochrome shimmer. To me it looks like deep rose pink with bronze shimmer.
This swatch is 2 coats with Seche Vite top coat.

This is the highlighter, peach blush, and taupe blush (swatched heavily, then blended).


These are the Megashine lipgloss (plus 2 color from my stash). I love these glosses, but my favorite that I wear all the time is Perfect.
When I swatch these I just realized that the pigmentation varies between shade. French kiss seems to be the more opaque one in my collection.

NOTW - Dorothy Who?

one of my fav polish ever.
I put it on friday night, and this pic is taken on sunday afternoon.
This is 3 coats with OPI natural nail base coat and Seche Vite top coat.

Skin 79 Absolute Total BB cream

Coverage: Sheer
finish : Dewy
oil-control : Poor
texture : creamy and thick, hard to blend.
color: I'm probably a NC20, and it's blending in fine.
smell: soft floral fragrance that disappear after application.

This is the first BB cream that I've tried. For my oily skin, I don't feel any oil control. (I've read a review that state it has good oil control, but it's not working on my skin). The finish is dewy and looks like my skin, but better. I like it!

Final verdict: Although I like the finish, I need better coverage and oil control. And so, the search go on...

Coogi Flowertox BB cream

Coverage: Medium
finish : Matte
oil-control : good (minimum oil after 7 hours)
texture : creamy liquid, so it's somewhat easier to apply and blend.
color: I'm probably a NC20, and I feel that this is a bit too pale for me. But still workable.

Overall I think this BB cream has good oil control, I put it on before work at 6:30-ish, and when I blot around 2pm, I have minimal oil on the bloting sheet. Usually I need 2 sheet around that time.

I'm not too fond of the result though, I prefer a more dewy finish. But I'm impressed by the oil control =)
The other BB cream I've tried (skin 79 absolute total) has very poor oily control for me. It does have a dewy finish though. I'll review that one later =)
